Cardano Celebrates the Launch of the Yoroi Pockets on Android – Product Launch and Updates

Though the deep red numbers aren’t going to upset crypto traders todaythe Cardano community received some good news: EMURGO’s Yoroi Wallet is now available for Android.

In the past 24 hours, Cardano price has lost nearly 9% in value after Bitcoin fell more than 3%. Cardano price fell to $ 0.038 with further decline expected.

Nonetheless, a product release from EMURGO gave the Cardano community a reason for a little celebration today. Yoroi, a new wallet for Cardano, has been released on Android. The iOS version will hit the market in the coming days or weeks, pending Apple’s approval.

The release of Yoroi is another big step forward in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Mobile wallets are in great demand and according to the official EMURGO website the wallet is “safe, quick and easy”.

Yoroi is a lightweight wallet, meaning it doesn’t require a full copy of the blockchain to be stored on the user’s device. This means that the bandwidth requirements for using the wallet are also low. In addition, the Cardano wallet supports multiple languages. For 2019, the deployment pool is just a further development that is promised in the roadmap.

User wallet private keys are only stored locally on the user’s device, and this data is encrypted with a wallet password. Private keys are never stored on centrally hosted servers.
