EOS Nairobi is partnering with Infinito Wallet to offer free EOS accounts to users across Africa
The EOS community in Africa is growing rapidly.
From communities across the continent who believe in this technology of the future to developers developing local solutions for these areas of supply chain and community finance, it is proving to be an exponential technology for Africa.
However, in order to interact with the platform, community members need accounts that are available to them
Access to dApps, Airdrops, ability to vote for block producers and provide a contract on the EOS mainnet and interact with it.
Accounts on the EOS platform allow holders to access resources on the network.
including RAM, CPU and bandwidth. It costs an average of $ 2.5 to set up an EOS account.
To make it easier for more EOS users to access free accounts, EOS Nairobi has partnered with Infinito Wallet, an industry leading universal wallet that supports an extensive list of coins including:
- THERE IS
- Bitcoin Cash
The wallet also supports all tokens of the ETH ERC20, NEO and NEP-5.
Since Infinito Wallet became the first universal wallet for EOS MainNet, it has developed into a widely valued wallet for the EOS community with 250,000 users on Android and iOS.
So the Infinito EOS wallet campaign gave away 2,000 accounts across Africa
The successful registration campaign gave 2000 accounts to members of the African community in countries such as Nigeria, Botswana, Kenya, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
Infinito Wallet has also done this as part of its larger campaign that awarded 12,000 accounts worldwide. They worked not only with EOS Nairobi but also with other block producers namely HKEOS, EOS Arabia, EOS Philippines and JEDA.
