Now the company is ready to announce Realme Buds Air 2 Neo. The Realme Buds Air 2 Neo will make its worldwide debut in Pakistan on April 7th. Before the official launch, the official teaser has confirmed the presence of ANC for the upcoming audio product.

The Realme Buds Air 2 Neo will be the third headphones from Realme with ANC after Realme Buds Air Pro and Realme Buds Air 2. This also means that the company will now offer ANC at even lower prices. According to the nomenclature of the product, the Realme Buds Air 2 Neo will be a direct successor to the Realme Buds Air Neo from 2020. Also, once it is launched, it will likely take over the crown as the cheapest TWS with ANC in India.

Prices for the Buds Air 2 Neo could be under Rs 3,000 considering that the Realme Buds Air 2 is priced at Rs 3,299 in India. In connection with this, the Realme Buds Air Neo was launched in India as early as 2020 for 2,999 rupees.

The Realme Buds Air 2 Neo will be launched in Pakistan on April 7th and is expected to travel to India later.

One of the biggest changes will come in terms of the design. While the Buds Air Neo had a stem-like design and a half-in-ear design, the new Realme Buds Air 2 Neo will feature a compact, stemless design with in-ear buds. The buds of the leaked images look like the new Samsung Galaxy Buds Live.

The buds are housed in an egg-shaped case that also doubles as a charging case for the buds. There is a button on the inside of the case that you can use to pair with various devices.

In terms of color options, the Realme Buds Air 2 Neo will come in Active Black and Calm Gray options with an iridescent finish on the outside that is also the touch control panel. The buds are also IPX5 certified to protect them from water.

In terms of connectivity, the Buds Air 2 Neo uses Bluetooth 5.2 and supports HH AAC playback. With two-channel transmission, you can synchronize both the left and right earbuds. Inside is a 10mm bass boost driver that offers rich bass. The Buds Air 2 Neo is powered by a Realme R2 chipset, which offers an active noise cancellation function of up to 25 dB.

There are also two microphones for calls and ENC is also activated for calls. The transparency mode, along with the 88 ms game mode with low latency, should also flow into the editing. The buds can be paired with the Realme Link app for more control. With the app you can switch between noise reduction, normal mode and transparent mode. You can also switch to Game Mode, turn up the volume, and play with three presets – Bass Boost +, Dynamic, and Bright.

The controls on the Realme Buds Air 2 Neo have touch controls that can be used to perform the following functions.

  • Double tap – Play / pause, accept / reject calls
  • Triple faucet – next track
  • Press and hold once – reject the call
  • Hold down both buds – Toggle noise reduction mode, transparency mode

The leaked image also shows some big improvements in the battery department. The Realme Buds Air 2 Neo is said to last up to 28 hours on a single charge, which is 65% better than the previous generation. Each bud is packaged with a 40 mAh battery and a 400 mAh battery.

On a single charge, the Buds Air Neo lasts up to 5 hours and up to 20 hours with the ANC switched on and including the case. A quick 10 minute charge via the Type-C port provides 3 hours of playback time.
