MADISON, Wisconsin (AP) – A Wisconsin woman was charged in federal court of trying to hire a bitcoin killer.

According to records filed in the western Wisconsin district on Friday, Columbus-based Kelly Harper, 37, used a murder-rental website on the dark network to prepare for the death of an unnamed Sun Prairie man from late October through late December.

Harper provided the height, weight, eye color, cell phone number, and photos of his vehicle. She also shared a screenshot of a Bitcoin wallet with a value of about $ 5,633 to the site administrator.
